Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mattress Tape Edger to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and durability of our mattresses through precise edging techniques.

Duties

Operate tape edge machines to edge mattress covers with precision. Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabric cutting and assembly tasks. Perform fabrication tasks, ensuring all materials meet quality standards. Assemble mattress components, adhering to production schedules and specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance. Lift heavy materials as required, maintaining safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals efficiently.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Familiarity with Taping techniques and fabric handling is highly desirable. Previous experience in fabrication or assembly roles is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
