Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join Truckmasters who are a long established materials handling specialist dealing in Toyota , Combilift , BT , Moffett and other equipment.
We now require an additional field service engineer to join a very busy team in Cambridgeshire.
Key tasks and responsibilities
service , maintain and repair all types of material handling equipment
diagnose faults using industry experience , specialist advice and diagnostic software
produce parts orders and submit to parts department
maintain technical knowledge by attending training courses , as necessary.
keep equipment operational following established procedures in a safe timely and cost effective manner
work without supervision in a safe manner as laid down by the health and safety at work legislation
ensure all service reports are completed correctly and submitted as required
Key skills required
Ideally a formal qualification is required and/or a minimum of 3 years experience in a mechanical role
applications are welcome from engineers with an automotive ( cars, vans , buses etc ) , plant , HGV or agricultural engineering background
excellent communication skills
courteous friendly with strong interpersonal skills
presentable , able to work as part of a team
good attention to detail
good customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 33,280.00-35,500.00 per year
