We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all work activities.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
