Purpose of the Role



To lead the creation and delivery of all visual and multimedia content that represents the MIDFIX brand.

This role is responsible for ensuring everything that carries the MIDFIX name -- from campaigns and presentations to photography, graphics, and video -- looks consistent, professional, and engaging.
You'll be hands-on with design work while also managing how creative content is produced and delivered, using trusted external partners where needed.

Core Competency



A talented graphic designer who can turn ideas into clear, high-quality visual content.
You'll have a strong eye for layout, colour, and detail, with a good understanding of how visuals communicate information and emotion.

Experience with photography or video would be a bonus, but the key is that you can confidently manage the full creative process -- from concept to delivery -- and know when to bring in specialist support.

Key Responsibilities



Design & Brand Application



Design and produce on-brand materials for digital, print, and events -- including graphics, templates, brochures, presentations, and social media content. Maintain and evolve the MIDFIX brand identity across all touchpoints. Refresh and manage the library of branded assets, icons, and templates.

Creative Direction & Collaboration



Work closely with the Marketing Communications Lead to bring written messages to life visually. Translate campaign ideas into visuals that feel authentic, confident, and relevant to the audience Support the production of visuals for events, training, and product promotions.

Multimedia & Network Management



Lead the creative production process across graphics, video, and photography. Manage a small network of external creatives -- such as videographers, photographers, or animators -- to deliver specialist work when needed. Ensure all outsourced creative work aligns with MIDFIX's brand standards. Stay on top of creative trends, tools, and formats that improve quality and efficiency.

Quality & Consistency



Uphold the highest visual standards in everything produced. Ensure consistency of style, tone, and visual identity across channels. Take ownership of how the MIDFIX brand is presented visually both internally and externally.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience



Proven experience in graphic design or visual communication. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent design tools. Experience creating content for multiple channels (digital, print, and video). Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and brand systems. Experience working with external partners or managing creative suppliers. Photography or video-editing experience is an advantage but not essential. Experience within a construction or technical industry is desirable but not essential -- willingness and ability to learn technical subject matter is key. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach.

Success Measures (First Half of 2026)



Updated brand templates, visuals, and sales collateral delivered. Consistent visual identity applied across campaigns, presentations, and web content. First series of campaign visuals and videos launched in support of the Marcoms message testing. Measurable improvement in the quality and consistency of visual output.
