As the Medical Director for UK and Ireland, you lead and operationally drive Ipsen\xe2\x80\x99s strategic vision, direction & programs for the medical affairs across the UK and Ireland. In this role you will:

  • Provide effective leadership to the medical team
  • Provide effective support and leadership within the UK & Ireland Leadership Team Through effective leadership, to promote a performance-driven, patient-focused environment
  • Provide clinical expertise and proactive input into the generation, review, approval and certification of all promotional and relevant non-promotional materials and activities as per the ABPI\'s Code of Practice
  • Maintain, and continuously update and develop clinical knowledge and experience in relation to Ipsen\'s portfolio and therapy areas.
  • Provide a scientific duty of care and to ensure the benefit/risk of Ipsen\'s products is understood and remains appropriate
  • Act as a patient advocate in all activities to ensure that the needs for current and future patients are met.
In order to be considered for this role we will ask you to demonstrate a career of increasing seniority in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including a broad scientific background and strong leadership experience, spanning studies and audits.
