Bumble is looking for a strategic and experienced PR Lead to manage our communications across the UK & Ireland with support to some smaller markets in EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer with significant experience in developing, drafting, and executing communications plans with a deep understanding of the UK media landscape. The candidate will have a strong independent work ethic, be highly motivated, detail orientated, and adept at managing multiple projects at once.

In this role, you will work closely with our European communications team and cross-functional partners to plan, build, and execute campaigns that deliver earned awareness and education for Bumble across the UK & Ireland. In this role, you will be independently responsible for managing our UK & Ireland communications and managing a PR Associate who works across UKI and EMEA markets.

This role will be based in London reporting to the EMEA Communications Director. English native fluency is a must and additional European languages are a plus.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Independently manage Bumble\xe2\x80\x99s UK & Ireland communications work, across both Bumble Date and Bumble For Friends products

Driving press coverage to educate consumers and increase awareness and relevance amongst Bumble\xe2\x80\x99s key audiences in the UK & Ireland

Developing and executing communications programmes and initiatives to support Bumble\xe2\x80\x99s growth in the UKI as well as owning execution for global initiatives

Owning relationships with UK and Irish press, including media requests

Analysing consumer and audience insights to build compelling press stories

Preparing communications materials and briefings for key spokespeople

Partnering with internal functions stakeholders (marketing, product, etc) to identify opportunities, surface needs and execute campaigns.

Lead on the profiling of internal stakeholders within media

Managing the day to day agency support in the UK & Ireland, including budgets

Monitoring and reporting on the impact of communications work, as required

Experience we are looking for:

Minimum 8+ years professional experience in PR and media - agency or in-house

Superb command of English, verbally and written

Experience and deep knowledge of the UK media landscape, speaking to press and your own black book of press contacts across consumer/lifestyle

Love of all things media with a sense for news, current events, and pop culture

Strong writing skills and ability to communicate professionally on behalf of Bumble
