We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring that the front office operates smoothly and that patients feel welcomed and cared for during their visits.
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for medical professionals.
Answer phone calls promptly, responding to enquiries and directing calls as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality, in compliance with data protection regulations.
Process patient registrations, insurance information, and payments efficiently.
Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and ensure timely service delivery.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, emails, and managing correspondence.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Skills
Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in office software applications, all aspects of Office 365.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanour.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
