Job Description

The Wood Medical Practice is a busy, friendly and patient-focused medical practice committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to our local community. We are currently seeking a reliable, professional and caring receptionist to join our front of house team.

Applicants should have excellent IT, communication and organisational skills with a confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients, doctors and other members of the team both over the telephone and in person. Primarily the post involves the following aspects:

Answering telephone calls, managing appointment bookings, and handling queries

Accurately maintain and working with clinical data and patient records

Maintaining confidentiality and patient dignity at all times

Previous experience of working within a busy surgery or hospital environment would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given. You should work well under pressure and be able to work within a team environment.
