The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy medical environment. Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries with professionalism.
Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality is upheld.
Process patient registrations and insurance information as required.
Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and organised at all times.
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing skills in managing schedules, records, and communications.
Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems will be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds.
