We are seeking full time and part time dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice and enhancing patient experience.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations effectively.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Process patient registrations and insurance information accurately.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely communication regarding patient needs.
Assist with billing inquiries and manage payment processing as required.
Keep the reception area tidy and organised, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
Skills
Previous office experience is not essential; competency with computers is essential.
Strong administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical reception duties.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
