Job Overview


The Membership Manager plays a crucial role in fostering a vibrant community by overseeing membership operations, enhancing member engagement, and driving retention strategies. This position requires a dynamic leader with strong management capabilities and exceptional communication skills to ensure that members receive the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote membership growth while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment.

Duties



Manage day-to-day operations of the membership department, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality service delivery. Supervise and lead a team of membership staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance. Develop and implement effective membership recruitment and retention strategies to achieve organisational goals. Maintain accurate records of memberships, including renewals and cancellations, ensuring all data is up-to-date and organised. Coordinate promotional activities and events to engage current members and attract new ones. Utilise merchandising techniques to enhance the visibility of membership benefits and offerings. Communicate effectively with members through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless member experiences across all touchpoints. Analyse membership data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in services offered.

Qualifications



At least 5 years' experience in management or supervisory roles within a hospitality environment or worked for a membership club before is essential. Knows wine, cigars and restaurant knowledge. Better to know a bit about Chinese or Asian culture. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with members from various backgrounds. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse membership base. Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous administrative experience is preferred, demonstrating attention to detail in record keeping and reporting. Familiarity with merchandising principles to enhance member engagement through visual displays. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about building community connections through effective membership management while providing exceptional service to all members.

Pay: 28,486.90-50,043.80 per year
