We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Club Manager to oversee the administration and operations of our Advocacy Practice Club--a unique community that delivers advocacy skills practice, networking and other career opportunities.
This is a flexible remote role, perfect for someone with a passion for justice, legal education, and inclusive legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Coordination
? Manage day-to-day administration of the club
? Draft and co-ordinate partnership documentation with organisations
? Oversee communication channels: respond to emails and WhatsApp messages in a
timely and professional manner
? Manage the club's WhatsApp group and other platforms
? Maintain and update the membership database and maintain and update other club
databases as required
? Produce and distribute volunteer completion documents
? Produce weekly activity and growth reports to Club Chair
Outreach & Development
? Research and progress business development opportunities
? Build partnerships and manage relationships with supporters
? Coordinate volunteer recruitment and support
? Coordinate club volunteer activities for practice sessions and events
Events & Engagement
? Assist in planning, organising, and delivering online and in-person events (where required)
? Liaise with venues, speakers, and attendees
? Provide logistical support for practice sessions, workshops and events
Social Media & Web
? Oversee social media outputs on LinkedIn and Instagram
? Conduct regular quality assurance on tone, accuracy, and brand consistency
? Manage and update the club website (WordPress, Wix or similar CMS)
Additional Duties
? Support project development and strategy as needed
? Represent the club professionally in all interactions
? Carry out any other tasks as required for the smooth running of the club
Person Specification
Essential
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
? Competent with Google Workspace, WhatsApp, Zoom, Eventbrite, Youtube, Excel, Databases and basic website CMS
? Comfortable with writing formal emails and partnership letters
? Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
? Commitment to the club's values of diversity, inclusion, development, and legal empowerment
Desirable
? Interest and/or experience in managing community groups
? Interest and/or experience in the legal field
? Familiarity with social media management and reporting
? Event coordination experience
? Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, GDPR, and data handling
