Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our pre-construction function as our
first MEP BIM/CAD Coordinator
. As this is a brand-new position, we're looking for someone confident in their technical expertise and enthusiastic about helping us build our in-house BIM and CAD capability.
Working closely with our Pre-Construction & Design Director, you will support project development from
Stage 3/4/5 design
through to handover to the delivery team, including record drawings. The role calls for a proactive, solutions-focused approach and a desire to help us continue raising our standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
BIM Coordination
Manage and maintain BIM standards across all pre-construction projects.
Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models to ensure accurate integration.
BIM Collaboration & Integration
Liaise with external design partners and subcontractors.
Lead coordination meetings, resolve clashes and address model discrepancies.
CAD Coordination
Maintain CAD standards across all projects.
Produce accurate 2D design drawings and support multidisciplinary coordination.
Model Audits & Quality Control
Conduct regular model audits and ensure compliance with standards, including ISO 19650.
Identify issues, raise RFIs and support continuous improvement.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare clash detection reports, progress updates and BIM-related documentation.
Training & Support
Support the wider team in adopting BIM/CAD best practice.
Provide guidance on software use and standards.
Software Management
Oversee use of BIM/CAD tools and ensure licences are up to date.
Preferred Experience
Strong background in BIM/CAD coordination, including clash detection and model management.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and related tools.
Experience creating and implementing BEPs.
Understanding of ISO 19650.
Confident communicator with a collaborative, detail-focused approach.

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
