Easy Recycling Solutions Ltd is offering a flexible, part-time opportunity at our Northampton site for a reliable, friendly, and proactive

Metal Recycling Operative

. No experience needed - just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

We understand the importance of work-life balance and are proud to offer flexibility of around 6 hours a day, with core hours designed to accommodate school drop-offs and pick-ups if needed.

Working Hours (Part-Time):

Approx.

25-30 hours per week

Flexible

6-hour shifts

between

8:30 AM and 3:30 PM

, Over Monday to Friday - 4 days per week

Saturday mornings

( 8am-2pm) Flexible We'll work with you to agree a pattern that works for both you and your family life

Full Time Role:

Working Hours (Full Time):

Approx.

37.5 hours per week

4 weekdays: 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour unpaid break)

Saturday

: 08:00 - 14:00 (30-minute unpaid break)

This is a physical, varied role that involves working both independently and as part of a supportive, down-to-earth team. You'll be dealing with customers, sorting materials, and helping keep the site running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude Sort and process recyclable metals Use simple IT systems to log materials (training provided) Maintain a clean, safe working area Follow Health & Safety guidelines Operate basic machinery and tools (training provided) Support the wider team and assist in daily site operations

What We're Looking For:

Friendly and approachable - great with people and our great customers Organised and good at managing your time Willing to learn and not afraid to get stuck in Reliable and trustworthy - a real team player Physically fit and happy to work on your feet Good communicator and basic IT skills is desirable

No previous experience needed - we'll train you!

Maintain high standards of safety and productivity while adhering to company policies and procedures A full driving licence is helpful but not essential
