Hours - Monday - Friday 11:30 - 1:15 and 3:30 - 6:00 (21.25 hours per week)



Pay: 12.21 per hour

The Role: Midday Assistant & Wraparound Care Supervisor



This combined position offers the chance to work closely with children across the school day, providing essential care and engaging activities.

Key Responsibilities and Benefits:



Safety & Order during Lunch



Supervising children in the Dinner Hall and on school premises (both indoors and outdoors), encouraging good behaviour, managing queues, helping set up/clear down the hall, and assisting with basic catering tasks.

Wraparound Care Supervisor



Nurturing Before & After School



Planning and leading a stimulating range of leisure activities (e.g., arts, crafts, games) for our Little Stars club (Breakfast and After-School Care, ages 3-11). You will ensure a safe, stable, and secure environment that meets the children's social, emotional, and physical needs.

Combined



Child Wellbeing & Teamwork



Administering basic first aid, adhering to safeguarding procedures, liaising effectively with parents and staff, and contributing positively to a whole-school culture of inclusion and respect.

Essential Requirements



Qualification:

Must hold at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.

Commitment:

A strong commitment to child safety, safeguarding, and professional development.

Qualities:

Excellent communication, a nurturing approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Compliance:

Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
