We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation as needed, contributing to the overall dining experience. Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between bar and kitchen. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of service. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A keen interest in culinary arts is advantageous, along with an eagerness to learn about new drink recipes and techniques.
