We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual, someone with an interest in the world of mortgages, who is looking for flexible working.
We are on the hunt for an organised and enthusiastic team player who can support our Mortgage Advisors by providing office based administrative aid. This person needs to have an excellent eye for detail, the ability to work under pressure and be focussed on providing exceptional service.
Experience of working within the mortgage industry is desirable. Alternatively, they will have experience within the banking or insurance industry for this varied role.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with clients throughout the mortgage process
Liaising with lenders on mortgage application updates
Updating and inputting data into the client software system
Assisting Mortgage Advisers with internal compliance
Supporting Advisers with Equity Release Mortgage and Protection administration
Uploading bills onto the accounts software system for About Mortgages and sister companies
Maintaining internal spreadsheets
Essential skills and attributes
Preferably 2 years previous mortgage industry experience, ideally in an administrative, or similar, role (other customer service experience would be considered)
Professional and presentable with strong verbal and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
A good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
Organised and reliable
Ability to multi-task
Excellent collaborator with the ability to work autonomously
