The Move Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of our customers' moves. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries, responsible for managing the booking process, coordinating surveys, handling customer queries, and ensuring clear communication from enquiry to completion.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and respond to new customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Schedule and book home visits or video surveys to assess the moving requirements.
Input and update customer details and job information accurately into our system.
Send timely booking confirmation emails and relevant documentation.
Take payments over the phone or via secure systems.
Coordinate job scheduling and liaise with surveyors, operations teams, and customers as needed.
Respond to day-to-day queries from customers, ensuring a high level of service is maintained throughout the moving process.
Provide administrative support and ensure records are kept up to date.
Maintain a proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential service issues.
Support international moves where required (experience in this area is desirable but not essential).
Qualifications
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Confident using phones, email, and computer booking systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
Previous experience in the removals or logistics industry.
Familiarity with international moves and customs procedures.
Experience using move management software
