: Multi-Skilled Labourer / Workshop & Site Assistant

About the Role

We are a specialist building services company working on Grade I & II listed properties and high-quality building works. We are looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Labourer to support across workshop and site activities.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and willing to turn their hand to a range of tasks -- from labouring and site support to assisting with basic carpentry or building works.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general labouring tasks: lifting, moving materials, assisting trades Workshop support: preparing timber, sanding, tool organisation, waste management Site support: assisting with fitting, minor repairs, and general building work Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised Loading/unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are in the right place Running errands (materials collection, tip runs) Supporting all tradespeople with hands-on assistance where required Undertaking basic maintenance or handyman-type tasks as needed
Requirements

Experience in construction, building, or a multi-trade role preferred Basic skills in carpentry, building, or similar trades desirable Good practical skills and willingness to learn new ones Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Full UK driving licence and transport (Deal breaker)

Pay: 13.50-17.00 per hour
