Duties

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and safety barriers Supporting tradespeople with tasks such as mixing materials, assembling structures, or transporting supplies Operating basic machinery and tools in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work site throughout the project duration Adhering to all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately Assisting with general maintenance tasks as required to ensure smooth project progression

Requirements

Proven experience as a Labourer or in a similar manual labour role Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods Good understanding of health and safety procedures in industrial or construction environments Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Basic knowledge of operating tools and machinery is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory
