Part time sports coach required (MORNINGS & AFTERNOONS)

For new school term starting in August

Monday - Friday to work in a primary school environment

Sessions available between 7.30-9.00AM 2.45 -5.45PM (Monday-Thursday) and 12.00-5.45 (Fri)

MUST BE AVAILABLE ON THESE DAYS & TIMES

Desirable sports would be: - football, basketball, tennis, gymnastics, handball, netball, badminton, fencing, hockey, dodgeball, athletics, fitness, multi sports and dance to name a few.

must have experience of coaching young children 5-12 years

Must hold an up-to- date PVG and first aid. Driver preferred

Summary

As a sports coach, you will be able to deliver a variety of fun and exciting activities ranging from football, basketball, netball, athletics and hockey to name a few. You will have the skillset as a coach to engage and interact with the children, to encourage and develop their creative and imaginative minds. Additionally, your knowledge of first aid will ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement, fun and engaging activities from sports and other activities that can relate to different themes. E.g. Pirates and Treasure, Hot Potato etc. Utilize creativity within your coaching to encourage the growth in the imagination of young children. Teach fundamental skills and techniques to enhance basic motor skills, balancing, coordination, walking and running etc. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to first aid and risk assessment protocols. Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among players during practices and competitions. Organize and conduct practice sessions, focusing on strategy and skill development.

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
