Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and a commitment to fostering the development of athletes at various skill levels. This role involves teaching fundamental skills, promoting teamwork, and instilling a love for the sport in participants. The Sports Coach will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment that encourages personal growth and athletic excellence.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of the sport to participants of varying ages and abilities. Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among athletes. Organise and conduct practice sessions, drills, and competitive events. Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and competitions. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns. Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in the sport.

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. A commitment to continuous professional development in coaching methodologies is advantageous. Pay: 12.21-20.00 per hour
