Lync Kids is part of the rapidly growing organisation, Lync Active based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire who deliver coached sports sessions to local primary schools.

Here at Lync Kids we believe all children should be given the opportunity to participate in physical activity, accessing provisions they may not generally get to participate in on a day-to-day basis. The Health and wellbeing of the children is paramount in the eyes of our coaches and when delivering sessions we look at the holistic benefits that our students gain from participating in the activities.

As well as staying active, we give students a chance to build fundamental skills within our sessions that may help them in future sporting endeavours. We also allow them the opportunity to try new sports, developing a passion for new hobbies and interests within the sporting world.

To be considered for this role you must:

-Plan, deliver and adapt where necessary session plans weekly (essential)

-Be confident and have fun, light-hearted personality traits to support working with children

-Be able to deliver personal training sessions and fitness classes for adults

-Plan, deliver and adapt training programmes for adults and athletes

-Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children

-Be able to liaise with school teachers and staff

-Have Creativity and imagination traits (essential)

-Be able to provide an enhanced DBS check (preferred) / ability to pass an enhanced DBS check (essential)

-Hold A Full UK driving license for travel between schools/venues (essential)

-Hold a level 2 NGB in sport / equivalent governing body coaching award (essential)

-Have knowledge of Safeguarding and safe practise (desirable)

-Have First aid training (desirable) / be willing to undergo first aid training where necessary

-Have Gym/PT experience

The coach will be responsible for:

-School Lunchtime Clubs Monday - Friday (term time)

-School Afterschool Clubs Monday - Friday (term time)

-Holiday / multi-sport camps Monday - Friday (school holiday's)

-Rugby Junior session on Saturday AM

-College activity sessions and wellbeing days

-Performance and gym hours

-Personal training sessions and fitness classes

-Support on Enrichment Days
