Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Multi-Trade Builder

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience across a range of building trades including carpentry, plastering, tiling, bricklaying, painting & decorating, and general maintenance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship on residential and/or commercial building projects, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of construction tasks including but not limited to: carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, painting, flooring, and basic plumbing. Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans. Carry out reactive and planned maintenance work. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients in a professional manner. Maintain tools, equipment Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects to a high standard.

Requirements:

Proven experience in multi-trade construction work. Good knowledge of building materials, tools, and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work from technical drawings and plans. Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines. Full UK driving licence (preferred or required, depending on role)

Desirable:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade Experience working in domestic, commercial, or social housing sectors.
