140-170 per day

Hours

: 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday), 8.30am-4.30pm

Role Overview:




As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective music lessons to primary school students. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their musical skills and appreciation for music.

Key Responsibilities:



Lesson Planning:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.

Teaching:

Deliver dynamic and interactive music lessons that inspire and motivate students.

Assessment:

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

What we're looking for...



Qualifications:



Degree in Music or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable).

Experience:



Previous experience teaching music at the primary level. Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Skills and Attributes:



Strong knowledge of music theory and practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Passion for teaching and inspiring students. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
