National Account Manager – Foodservice

London, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Hello potential future Oatly employee. It's us, the original oat drink company that started in Sweden back 30 or so years ago.

Our mission? To make it easier for people to eat better and live healthier lives without throwing the planet under the bus in the process. If that makes you want to stand up, fist-pump, and shout, "Yes!" or even just a mild "Cool, I'm into that", then maybe you'd like to join us. (Fun fact: we were recently voted one of 2024's best places to work for a small organisation.)

With that, let's talk about the role.

The Role

------------

You might've first fell in love with Oatly by finding us in the best coffee shops across the country, and the Out of Home (OOH) sector - and in Foodservice sector in particular. Foodservice continues to be just as crucial to building the brand today.

We're looking for a National Account Manager (NAM) - Foodservice to manage our Foodservice Wholesale customers. You'll be responsible for building and managing the relationship with those customers, becoming an expert in how they work and how we can win together. Here's the main elements of the role...

Manage relationships with our key Foodservice Wholesale customers, like Bidfood and Brakes - building super strong relationships with a range of contacts across these businesses. Develop & execute customer joint business plans that help deliver against Oatly's goals and those of our customers. Bring on new business by working closely with your customer contacts to identify opportunities and by creating bespoke proposals. Be the voice of your customers internally - developing a strong understanding of them, how they work, their goals, and how we can work together to achieve them (as well as our own). Accurately forecast volume sales for your customers and track performance against those forecasts, providing clear updates to the business on performance. Deliver against volume and spend targets and continually work to find new opportunities to hit those targets. Collaborate closely with the wider OOH team, Including globally, to share learnings and further your business. Plan, negotiate & execute game changing NPD launches smoothly and effectively. Lead and manage the business project of Machine Hacking, resulting in Oatly opening up more distribution opportunities across Foodservice with the right solution.

Who You Are

---------------

If the below sounds like you, we'd love to see an application:

You've got a true passion for the OOH sector, in particular the world of Foodservice. You've got demonstrable experience managing Out of Home Foodservice accounts, like Bidfood or Brakes. You have strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience in executing JBPs. You love analysing data to uncover performance trends and opportunities - and sharing these internally and externally. You're equally lit up by building relationships, and are energised by being out with your customers. You're motivated by hitting and exceeding targets and delivering results. You want to be part of a motivated, enthusiastic, kind, positive and values driven team - excited by our mission to change the food industry through our values of sustainability, health and trust. You'd consider yourself a self starter who doesn't need direct supervision to motivate you for success - you love taking ownership of your work with all the freedom that comes with it.
