The Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced
Sales & Marketing Manager
to lead our new business development efforts and strengthen client relationships. This is a newly created position with big potential: you'll play a key role in growing Vigiant's UK customer base and expanding our presence within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads and proactively seek new business opportunities across the UK and European fashion and retail sectors
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Identify and engage key decision-makers (e.g., Buying Directors, Heads of Buying)
Develop tailored proposals and compelling presentations for prospective clients
Strengthen existing customer relationships by identifying new departments, categories, or markets
Collaborate closely with internal design, development, and production teams to align commercial goals with execution
Represent the company at face-to-face meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Report on KPIs, market activity, and sales progress
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in sales and/or business development within the fashion manufacturing or retail industry
Strong understanding of the UK fashion retail landscape and supply chain
An existing network within major UK fashion retailers (e.g., M&S, Next, River Island, Primark) is a strong plus
Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build lasting client relationships
Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
