Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for
Trained or Trainee Papertray Operators
to join our production team. This role involves operating and maintaining papertray machines used in the manufacture of printed, folded, window-patched, glued, and lined food cartons.
Whether you're an experienced operator or looking to start your career in manufacturing, we offer full training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate papertray machines to meet production requirements
Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs
Conduct quality checks including glue application, window alignment, and colour consistency
Perform routine maintenance and report any faults or breakdowns
Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Support and train team members working on the machines
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards (PS9000, BRC/IoP)
What We're Looking For
Trained operators with a mechanical background, or individuals seeking training in machine operation
Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging is beneficial but not essential
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); training on internal systems will be provided
Reliable, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards
