Are you a compassionate individual looking to make a meaningful difference within a healthcare profession? Hi, I'm Ify. I'm a 35 year old man living with a high-level spinal cord injury, seeking dedicated night staff for 12 hour shifts, two nights a week, to join my personal healthcare team.
I have always been hands-on with my care and employ my staff privately, allowing flexibility to meet my needs and ensure comfort for both them and myself. The team consists of both live-in and waking night carers, the latter of which I am currently recruiting for. The shifts last from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. during which the main roles include providing personal care for myself (which includes some moving and handling with the assistance of the live-in carer), administering some medication, feeding and regular house chores. Essential requirements are provided below.
Prior similar experience is highly preferred and I only employ non-smokers or at least carers willing to not smoke during and just before the shifts start. Any successful applicants will receive at least 2 paid shadow shifts.
