The Salthouse Hotel is a luxury eco hotel with 24 stylishly appointed bedrooms and suites, 6 eco lodges, a soothing spa and laid back bar and restaurant. We are situated on the stunning North Coast of Northern Ireland in the seaside town of Ballycastle and we host one of the most stunning views looking over Ballycastle, Rathlin Island, Fairhead and beyond.

We are currently looking for a hard-working, passionate and experienced Night Porter to join our ever-growing team. A Night Porter carries out general cleaning duties to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while ensuring back of house areas are clean and safety guidelines are observed.

Their main duties and responsibilities include:

Maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards Carry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, and emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers Ensuring that all Front of house areas are kept clean and all equipment is cleaned in accordance with the cleaning schedule Report any maintenance and, or, hazard issues to the supervisor on duty Carry out any other reasonable task set by the Hotel's Management Maintain the highest level of grooming, cleanliness and personal hygiene Have some Bar experience Understand the company's policy on health & safety Be fully competent in the correct procedure to follow in the event of an emergency Ensure security of all property Complying with any other tasks that are requested by management and any other reasonable requests made by the guest
This is a hands-on role; the applicant should have a great passion for delivering the highest level of customer service, keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks.
