The Park Hotel

is a vibrant three-star hotel located in North Liverpool, with an extensive events programme and is an established and much sought after wedding venue. We seek an experienced Night Porter who can join the hotel's team of hospitality professionals to achieve and enhance the exemplary levels of service deserved by our customers.

The successful candidate will adopt a security and safety conscious attitude, ensuring the safety of guests and hotel property, whilst providing a service for the comfort and satisfaction of the guests. The Night Porter will carry out in an efficient and responsible manner, key duties as required, including daily handover procedures.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work night shifts, between 11.00pm to 7.00am. Reception duties: Greet residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, check guests in and out of the Hotel. Nightly patrols of the Hotel to ensure health, safety and security measures are in place, ensuring the safety of the Hotel and its occupants. Tidy and clean public areas, always ensuring cleanliness and tidiness. Must be willing to train as a Hotel fire marshal and in the event of an incident evacuate guests to the safe point and assist with emergency first aid incidents. Ability to work flexibly with availability to work additional hours when necessary.

Requirements:

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred. Previous experience of working nights. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Demonstrate willingness to work in all parts of the hotel when necessary to meet the needs of the business and help satisfy customer requirements. A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
