Your primary role will be the safety of our guests and the security of the hotel.
Hours of work: Variable based on a shift pattern Monday-Sunday. Night shift typically commences at 11.00pm and finishes at 7.00am, 3 to 4 shifts per week on a 2-week rotational rota.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure the smooth operation of the Night Porter Front Desk to ensure that customer/visitor expectations are met and maintained, ensuring the Night Porters check list is completed.
Liaise with the outgoing Receptionist and Restaurant management regarding late check-ins and general handover information.
Be involved and follow all Fire Safety procedures and be fully competent with evacuation
Liaise with Duty Manager regarding any outstanding work required.
Complete security checks of the hotel.
Attend to any late-night residents requiring food or beverage service.
Check in any late arrival guests and check out early departures.
Set up breakfast
To complete all nightly cleaning duties in preparation for the next day's business. This includes vacuuming, brushing up, mopping and removing all debris in all public and function areas.
