We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the hotel premises while providing exceptional guest services. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and an eagerness to assist guests with their needs.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with their luggage. Maintain cleanliness in all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are stocked and organised. Assist with room service deliveries as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times. Handling late check-ins and early check-outs using. Ensuring hotel security and safety protocols are followed overnight Completing daily reports and preparing for morning handovers Supporting housekeeping and maintenance teams where required

Requirements

Prior hotel reception or front desk experience Strong communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting luggage and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude towards learning and adapting in a dynamic environment.
