Job Description

We are seeking to expand our Nights team and as such we are seeking a Night Porter. Nights are the unsung heroes of hotels, you will be part of a team that interacts with our late night arrivals and guest queries throughout the night. The role involves tasks such as cleaning and maintaining the interior of the hotel, ensuring the safety and security of the premises during night hours, and providing assistance to guests as needed. Experience is preferable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The shifts pattern will be 4 nights out of 7 days.

Gomersal Park Hotel is a charming and elegant hotel located in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, UK. Your Duties will include:

Ensure the security of the hotel and its guests throughout the night Provide a warm and professional welcome to late arrivals and assist with check-in Assist guests with luggage and general enquiries Carry out regular patrols of the premises and respond to any disturbances Set up or clean down public areas, conference rooms, or breakfast areas as required Complete nightly cleaning duties and prepare areas for morning staff Setting up meeting rooms for the following day. Maintain accurate handover notes for the day team Monitor fire alarms, CCTV, and health & safety procedures Support bar or room service as required during the night
