The Ebrington Hotel is now seeking to recruit a Night Porter for their premises, Ebrington Square, Derry-Londonderry:

Night Porter - Job Details

Contract: Casual/ Permanent

Start date: TBC

Salary: Competitive

Hours of work: Casual

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel premises during the night shift Conduct regular patrols of the hotel and report any suspicious activity or potential security issues Respond to guest requests for assistance and provide exceptional customer service throughout the night Check guests in and out during the night shift Assist with guest luggage and transportation as needed Set up meeting and event spaces for the following day Ensure that all public areas and back-of-house areas are clean and tidy Complete nightly reports and reconcile any financial transactions that occur during the shift Provide support to other departments as needed during the night shift

Essential Criteria

Previous experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment Security awareness: Strong understanding of hotel security procedures and ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations Customer service skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service and interact professionally with guests Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete administrative tasks and reports during the shift Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed by the hotel.
