We have a superb opportunity for an Experienced Night Porter to join our established Nights Team at our Harrogate Hotel, situated overlooking Harrogate's beautiful Stray.

Please note all team members are required to undergo a Basic Level DBS check.

As a Night Porter, you'll support the Nights Manager in ensuring the hotel operation runs smoothly and efficiently overnight. You'll be visible in the reception and lounge areas ensuring for the overall security of the hotel during shift, including security walks of the property.

You will have previous experience in a similar environment, with a positive "can do" attitude and a strong work ethic, as you will be working closely with all operational departments within the hotel to ensure a seamless experience for all our guests. You will have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety including Fire Safety.

This position would suit someone with previous hotel night experience, who is self-motivated, organised and has a passion for service excellence.

You'll act on tasks that have been passed on from the day shift teams, reviewing & rectify any issues which may arise, providing assistance in setting up meeting rooms and events for the following day's business.

With a room service available until late, you'll liaise with our Guest Service Team regarding handover of the bar and make sure guests are still receiving an excellent service.

The role requires a professional, outgoing and positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for guest satisfaction and superb organisational and administrative skills.
