Gailes Hotel & Spa are seeking a dedicated and friendly Night-Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests by providing exceptional hospitality services. As a Night-Porter, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their needs, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall operations of our establishment. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist them with their luggage or any inquiries they may have. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and other common areas. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience. Assist in the delivery of messages, packages, or items to guest rooms as required. Monitor the condition of the property and report any maintenance issues to management promptly. Ensure that all areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as brochures and refreshments. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless guest services and operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous. A friendly and approachable demeanour with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
