Night Porter

to join our team and help ensure a smooth and safe overnight experience for our guests.

Job Overview

As a Night Porter, you will be the first point of contact for any late-arriving guests and the go-to person during the night shift. You'll play a key role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and overall guest experience during nighttime hours. This is a great role for someone who is proactive, dependable, and enjoys working independently.

Job Responsibilities

Greet and assist late check-in guests, providing a warm and professional welcome Monitor the premises and ensure the safety and security of the building and its guests Carry out regular security checks throughout the night Handle basic housekeeping duties (e.g., cleaning public areas, preparing for morning breakfast setup and setting up for weddings) Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or emergencies Complete a coherent handover and communicate any issues to the daytime team Support with setting up breakfast service or restocking supplies as required Maintain a clean and tidy reception area

Job Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, security, or night shift roles preferred (but not essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Calm under pressure and able to handle issues independently Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards Basic computer literacy (for check-ins, logs, etc.) Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
