We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that guests have a pleasant and memorable experience during their stay. As a Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of our establishment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage handling. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance, and other public areas. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor the condition of the premises and report any maintenance issues to management. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery. Uphold hotel standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction at all times.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for visitors. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations effectively. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.
