Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management and smooth running of the nursing home.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams.
Ensure compliance with
CQC regulations
and uphold the highest standards of clinical care.
Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed.
Support the implementation of care plans and ensure residents receive person-centred, compassionate care.
Oversee staff training, supervision, and performance reviews to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
Promote a positive culture of teamwork, respect, and professional growth.
Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
Qualified
Registered Nurse
with valid
NMC registration
.
Proven
experience as a Deputy Home Manager
or in a similar senior nursing role.
In-depth understanding of
CQC standards
and compliance frameworks.
Ability to identify and manage safeguarding referrals effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
