As the
Nurse Deputy Manager
, you will assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of clinical and operational excellence are maintained. You'll act as a role model, mentor, and leader, guiding your team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in all aspects of home management, including compliance, quality assurance, and staff development.
Lead, motivate, and mentor nursing and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
Oversee care planning and clinical governance processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Engage effectively with residents, families, and external professionals to promote a positive care experience.
Identify and manage safeguarding concerns in line with referral pathways.
Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
- essential.
Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
in a nursing home setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to engage with residents and staff to maintain a high standard of care.
