As an expanding group of nurseries we are looking to recruit team members with a passion for childcare. We support our team members to gain relevant qualifications through our in-house training programs.
We are currently recruiting for a role at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Cambridge, CB3 9DU from Monday to Friday Full time for 40 hours per week.
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentices to join our Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries Cambridge team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.

Duties
Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote learning and development.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Provide individual attention to children as needed, supporting their emotional and social development.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space, ensuring all equipment is safe and well-maintained.
Drive engagement through creative play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
Observe children's progress and report any concerns to senior staff members.
Experience:
A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with children and parents effectively.
Leadership qualities are beneficial for guiding younger staff or volunteers within the nursery environment.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude is crucial.
