Job Description
Colinton Private Nursery has been established since 1997. We are registered to take 59 children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. This is a 36 hour per week position over 4 days.
Nursery Apprentice Role
We are looking for someone fun, enthusiastic, motivated individual who are looking for a position in childcare.
Our ideal candidate will work towards SVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education. As a commitment to helping people achieve their full potential, we are looking for an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner who can be supported through a qualification while working in the nursery. This post would suit an enthusiastic individual seeking a long-term career in Nursery Care and Education that currently does not yet have the relevant qualification and or experience.
The role will require the successful candidate to register with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Offers will also be subject to successful enrolment, a process which we will guide you through.
The role will require you to undertake training to gain the SVQ 3 qualification, this is funded by the nursery.
