Job Description

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic apprentice to join our small family run Nursery based in Hove to work alongside our small staff team.

The position will be to support staff caring for children aged 3 months - 5 years old. Our setting is a home from home style nurturing environment where children learn through play and exploring activities and resources both indoors and outdoors. We are looking for someone who loves to get messy, creative and support children to have fun and support their development in the process!

The suitable candidate will be given on site training as well as being signed up with an outside training provider to complete a Childcare Qualification. The candidate will also be paid to attend paediatric first aid training and we offer lots of training opportunities alongside the apprenticeship. No experience is necessary although desired. A good level of spoken and written English is required.

The position is for 40 hours per week. We are open 7.30-6pm Monday - Friday and staff work on 8 hour shifts. We are situated within a 5 minute walk from Hove Station.

Apprentice wage is applied for the first year whilst training (7.60) per hour, however this can be negotiable for the right candidate.
