Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship - Dingley's Promise, Worcester
Are you passionate about supporting children with SEND and helping them thrive?
If so, we'd love to hear from you!
At Dingley's Promise Worcester, we provide a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Through play-based learning, we help children develop and flourish. We also offer support to families through information, training, and collaborate with mainstream settings to promote inclusive early years education.
About Us
Dingley's Promise has been dedicated to transforming the lives of children with SEND since 1983. We operate five specialist early years centres across the UK, and our Worcester setting is a key part of that mission. Sessions run from 9:15 am to 2:45 pm during term time, with staff hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. As an apprentice, you'll be supported by experienced staff and have the opportunity to grow within the organisation.
Your Role as Early Years Practitioner Apprentice
As an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice, you will work alongside the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager, playing an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery and providing high-quality care and education to children with SEND. You'll be fully supported to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting and building trusting relationships with children and families, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Assisting in the delivery of care and education, observing, planning, and assessing to meet the individual needs of children.
Collaborating with other professionals and the wider team to support each child holistically.

Have an interest in or are passionate about SEND (experience is beneficial, but not required--full training will be provided).
Have a caring, patient, and inclusive approach to working with children.
