Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Cavendish Lodge Nursery School. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to learn in a supportive environment. You will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing atmosphere while assisting with the development of our children's learning. Please note that after a year of service rate of pay will go up to minimum wage.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote children's development. Support the lead practitioners in maintaining a safe and stimulating nursery environment. Interact positively with children, encouraging their exploration and learning. Help with daily routines, including meal times and nap times, ensuring children's comfort. Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements

A genuine interest in working with young children and pursuing a career in childcare. Basic understanding of early childhood education principles is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed. Willingness to learn and grow within the role through training opportunities.
