Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in early childhood education while contributing positively to the development and well-being of children in a nursery setting. As an Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced practitioners, learning essential skills in childcare.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities for children aged 0-5 years. Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships within the nursery community. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space to provide a safe learning environment. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development. Observe and document children's progress and behaviour as part of their developmental assessments.

Qualifications

A genuine interest in early childhood education and childcare. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A proactive approach to learning and personal development within the childcare sector.
