Are you passionate about cooking healthy, delicious meals for children? We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Chef to join our friendly and nurturing early years setting!

About the Role:

As our Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 years. You'll ensure all dietary requirements are met while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks in line with our healthy eating policy Cater for dietary needs, including allergies, cultural, and parental preferences Maintain a clean and safe kitchen, adhering to food hygiene standards Manage food orders, stock rotation, and kitchen budgets Work closely with the nursery team to support children's well-being

Requirements:

Experience as a chef or cook, ideally in a childcare or school setting Knowledge of food hygiene, allergies, and nutritional needs of young children Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain) Ability to work independently, with excellent organisation skills A passion for providing high-quality meals to support children's development
