Overview

Are you passionate about creating nutritious, delicious meals for little ones? Do you enjoy working in a warm and friendly environment.

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Cook to join our friendly team and play a vital role in the daily life of our nursery. You will be responsible for preparing healthy meals and snack for children between the ages of 0-12 years, catering to a variety of dietary needs and allergies, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What you will do:

Plan and prepare a balanced, age appropriate meals and snacks.
Ensure all food is cooked and served in line with food safety regulations.
Manage stock and maintain cleanliness.
Work closely with nursey staff to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies.
Create a welcoming kitchen environment that reflects our values of care and community.
What we are looking for:

Experience in cooking in groups, ideally in a childcare or school setting.
Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety Standards training will be provided.
Ability to help plan menus and manage kitchen routines independently.
A warm, reliable, and flexible team player.
Passion for providing nutritious meals that children enjoy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
