Job Description

The Person



Qualified to a minimum of level 2 food hygiene

Flexible and reliable

Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative

Positive outlook

Work well as member of a team

Good knowledge of COSHH

Smart, professional and polite manner

Excellent communication skills

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in either a school/nursery kitchen environment


The Role (

Including but not limited to)

Plan and prepare a variety of healthy nutritious meals, taking into account dietary and cultural requirements

Order and buy stock inline with requirements.

Ensuring stock rotation and that all stock is clearly labelled, including expiry date

Ensuring food is hygienically stored and inline with food hygiene standards

Essential knowledge of 'Safer Food Better Business'

Have experienced Environmental Health inspections

Comply with all company policies and procedures

Ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met and complied with


Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Experience:

Non Domestic Cooking: 2 years (required)
Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 05/01/2026
